Heidi has been involved with horses her whole life and started riding competitively at an early age. She has been an active member of Pony Club winning the silver medal at National Championships in Show Jumping Level 3 as well as competing successfully at numerous Regional Rallies in Dressage, Eventing, Show Jumping and Quiz. She has also been involved with the USEA Young Rider program where she was selected to represent Area V at the North American Young Rider Championship at the CCI** level bringing home the gold medal with her team. Heidi went on to compete her horse Ocotillo through the Advanced level.

Heidi spent 2 summers as a working student for Karen and David O'Connor in Virginia. She rides regularly in clinics with Karen O'Connor and Sally O'Connor. Heidi is a graduate of Centenary College and works for Smith and Nephew Orthopedics in Medical Sales.

Heidi teaches riders of all ages but excels with children.
