Horse owners in need of an experienced and professional rider/trainer can contact Sydney. Sydney will start your youngsters right and give older horses moving up confidence. Sydney began riding at the age of seven when she got her first pony. Soon after she joined Pony Club and started to compete at local rally's and at hunter shows. Sydney showed the pony for a year when Fancy Shadow Chaser "Fancy" came into her life. Fancy was a three year old, 14.1 hand, paint pony. Sydney was only eight years old, but she knew that she and Fancy were meant to be a team. Together they worked their way up to compete at the preliminary level in eventing. Sydney has competed up to the two-star** level with her horse Raja's Dawn. In 2003, Sydney and Dawn won the Mid-South CCI* Sydney works at her horse business and riding career full-time. Her days are filled with a variety of horse and farm related activities - training youngsters, schooling horses in for training or resale, and competing most weekends in spring and fall. Sydney competes her own horses and she competes horses owned by her clients. Sydney strives to improve her riding expertise and knowledge. She trains with Regis Webb, a local riding instructor, and attends clinics with some of the world's best eventing and dressage professionals such as Karen and David O'Connor, Becky Douglas-Holder, Will Faudree, and Sally O'Connor.
