Julie started riding at the age of eight. She immediately started taking lessons with Regis Webb who has taught her so much. Julie then joined Gator Bayou Pony Club and worked her way to become "B" rated. She has attended many rallies and was fortunate to be chosen to go to National Championships in Lexington Virginia in Show Jumping level 3 where their team brought home the gold! She continues to coach & teach at rallies. Julie was recently inducted into Gator Bayou Pony Club as life-time member. Julie was also involved with the USEA Area V young rider program. She was chosen to be part of the CCI** team several times, but her horse Bradley would always have an injury just before training camp. Finally in 2008 Julie got to go to Nationals in Colorado where once again Bradley did not pass the jog. All in all, Julie has learned life-long lessons and always comes back a stronger more humble person. Julie currently competes her own horse Consensus at the Advanced level. She recently won 2nd at Rocking Horse in Altoona Florida.

Julie continues to ride with Regis Webb to improve her riding skills and knowledge. She has been extremely fortunate to ride with some of the worlds best eventing and dressage professionals such as Karen & David O'Connor, Will Faudree, Becky Douglas-Holder, Sally O'Connor, Buck Davidson, Boyd Martin, Mark Todd, Daniel Stewart & Clayton Fredericks.
